Well as an avid reader of the forum and a very occasional poster I just thought I'd post to say that my IVA is finally over. I did the full 5 years and had confirmation today that my final payment has been received and that now things were being finalised and I would receive my completion certificate within 2 months [:)].

I have found this forum to be extremely helpful over the last 3 years (when I actually discovered it) and even if you're too scared to post its a great place to find information as somebody before you has usually asked your question already.

I won't say the last 5 years have been easy because they certainly haven't and I have full respect for anyone going through an IVA now as you have faced up to your debts and are dealing with them and its such a great feelng when its finally over and you realise what you went through to reach the end of the journey and some of the lessons you learn along the way and the good things you take with you afterwards such as being able to stick to a budget. I wish everyone success in their IVA's in the future.

I can't believe how quickly Payplan have done the completion of my IVA after my last payment being received earlier in the month. I officially received my 'Notice of Completion' certificate this morning. Now that its officially over I can finally relax, its such a great feeling.
Again good luck to everyone in current IVA's.
Hopefully now I can stick around and offer advice, I've always been a bit worried in case I offered advice and then my IVA failed which is why I haven't posted much.
Right I best get on to sorting my credit files out now :-(!
