I am nearly there. I have one more payment to go to complete my IVA.

5 Years seems a long time but it will be worth it to finally be dept free and £850 pm better off. I may be able to have a summer holiday this year.

My Family deserve it.

To all you people starting out, it can be achieved with the right IP.

Polar, that's brilliant news. What a relief now that all your money is your own.

Good luck for the future, and I hope you have a good holiday!

What great news - who was your IP? I believe the choice of the correct IP is crucial. I am about to start on that journey.

Oh I dream of saying that, as opposed to 48 [:I] Saying that I am 1/5th way through or even 20%! which sounds best..

What a great feeling it must be to have that sort of money to yourself as opposed to your creditors - and how deserving after five years of what much have been fairly tough times to service the IVA on time each month.

Well done to you and thank you for sharing your joy on the forum. It will be inspirational to other posters.

I used "Cornfield Law" They were recommended by the CCCS (Concumer Credit Councelling Service).

As they were recommended by the CCCS then I was confident i was in the right hands.

Cornfield Law have always been contactable via phone an email and always replied via return of post or within 20 mins via email. They have that personal touch. I can't fault them

How interesting to see a solicitors practice doing practical insolvency work. I am very familiar with this from my Northern Ireland practice, but did not think that there were too many practicing IP law firms over here.

Glad you have had a good service from this firm, and presumably CCCS referred you to them prior to them setting up their own IVA department.
