i am pulling my hair out talking to Karol @ grant thornton,

i started my Iva 5.5 Years ago and completed in march 2011

still no completion certificate and if i am lucky i might get it this side of 2012, but who knows

working with BE was bad enough, especially when i was never told about annual reviews, was only ever told "a fixed monthly payment of ***" this was over the phone and in person by their rep

worst take over ever!!!

Sorry you are having so many problems but I'm sure you will get your certificate soon.

Give Karol another emai or call - she seems to do really well for posters on here.

i spoke to her on the 4th and she said she would see if there was anything she could do and promised to call back on the following monday (7th) and faild to do so

spoke to her today and got exactly the same answer i got on the 4th (not done much in 18 days apart from have a holiday)

i really have had enough now of everything and today i even got a sales call from GT cos it still shows i have an active IVA even when the last payment i made was May 2010

Look yourself up on the Insolvency Register and you'll find the name of your IP. Good luck tracking down that certificate!

You need to look up your name on the Insolvency Register and your IP will be listed among your details. Second time lucky?!?

Looks like they need updating! To be fair, it's more likely to be a delay with the people who manage the register than your IP firm. They are notorious for having out of date information. Are you sure you didn't receive a letter about the transfer - I think it was back in July or August that posters seemed to receive them. This would have the name of your new IP. x

Hi Steve
I'd dig out any original approval papers for your IVA or any papers at all in case there is a mention of who the IVA was transferred to. I would also ask Karol the question directly 'exactly who was my IVA with upon completion' and I'd ask for this in writing. Don't be put off you have done well to complete and you are entitled to this information. This is unecessary hassle for you.
Keep posting Hugs

It would have been transferred to Grant Thornton as it was BE who were the original company.

I would keep pestering GT until you get an answer.
