i entered a iva in march 2006, this was to last 5 years, however i repaid my debt to creditors 100% after 14 months (may 2007) i have now been free from my iva for a further 14 months but still cannot get credit, i cant even apply for a £50 overdraft, i have no outstanding debt and would like to know when my credit rating will be back in a healthy state

March 2012 will be the earliest. ^ years from the date of the IVA being accepted, regardless weather it is settled early or not.

Regards

Steve

6 years from the default dates, these can be after the date of your creditors meeting. after you have your certificate of satisfaction from your IP you need to ensure the correct default dates are registered with the CRA's and if not get them amended to the date of your creditor meeting.

Nothing can be done about the 6 years I'm afraid though. Even if you have cleared the IVA early, the defaults will stay on there for 6 years from the date they were registered
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
