Feeling a bit sorry for myself today. This heat plays havock with my MS so im in agony all over ( more than usual) and not brilliantly stable on my feet.
My fingertips have virtually no sensation anymore and i feel like im losing the plot. SERIOUSLY!!! I keep putting things in the oven and forgetting about them.
I wish a course of anti-biotics could clear up my conditions but sadly that will never happen so i know i have to plod on.
Still makes me feel very sad though.
Sorry about the rant, its just one of them days today.

hay Lisa

sorry your feeling so down today, i cant imagine how hard things get for you with your MS. I have a friend with quite bad MS and ive seen her from one day be pretty much ok to not being able to function to next. I only can hope you have more good days than bad.

My friend often forgets things, like food in the oven and once forgot to pick her child up from school (thanksfully ester ransen wasnt about lol!) so what she does now is have a kitchen timer with her everywhere, she sets the time when she needs to do something with a post it attached to it, so 'ping' she looks at the note and remembers! i guess its just one stratergy you could use.

I hope you start to feel a bit better soon hun

Drew

I'm so sorry you're having such a bad time Lisa. I can remember how the heat affected my dad and I know it's horrible.

Take care xxx

Sorry to hear you're having a rough summer Lisa ... I wish I could help in some way as you've often helped me. I'm lucky in that the warm weather makes me feel a lot better ... it's winter I hate when I end up in a wheel chair and sleeping in a chair cos I can't get up stairs; so I do have a glimmer of what you are going through xxx

I know people at work are suffering at the moment because of hay fever.

I've never suffered from that and I love the heat although I know it doesn't suit everyone.

I hate the cold and feel it a lot more now since I lost my weight.

I know how hard you are suffering Lisa as my ex-Wife had relapsing remitting MS and at the 10 year point since her original diagnosis when we got married so she was getting really bad.

Thinking of you and here for chat if you need support. x

Kallis she is my EX-wife lol, I do not talk to her anymore cos of the debt she got me into and the fact that she cheated on me 2 weeks after we married [:(]

That said I do talk to her 2 Brothers and their partners still and they tell me she is up and down and she is in an up phase at the moment. As much as I hate her for what she did to me I do still worry about her and hope she stays healthy for as long as possible.....

Hi Lisa, sorry to hear your not well, my Mum gets affected by both the heat & the cold with her MS.
And I wish I could do more for my Mum & yourself.
My Mums got that forgetful now we cant let her do the cooking anymore, but Mum also has dimenture (cant spell!) on top of it. Plus Mums 69 now so other factors are coming into effect.

I think getting a timer would help, it will just give you some peace of mind & to help you continue as normally as possible.

Hope your feeling abit better today - its quite cold n windy here today.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Not nice here either. Not cold particularly but it's now raining.

Glad you are feeling better.

Luke - sorry about that, hadn't read the post properly. Forgive me?[:)]
