Just had my 2nd 6 month review through. About to post the relevant information off to BE!!

Yeah it has. Best thing I've ever done in regards of debt. I come on here and read that some people wish they never went for an IVA and advise others that its a bad idea. I 100% disagree with them. I only had a relatively small debt when compared to others (£16K) yet found it impossible to live. Now in an IVA, I find my self in control of my money and actually having some left over at the end of every month. Yes its only a small amount but before I was spending literally every little penny I had!

I agree. It was the best decision we ever made, but as you say - it wouldn't suit everyone.

My sister was declared bankrupt, but at the time she was a single mom and not able to work due to depression, so she wouldnt have been able to pay back anything. x

Congratulations on the first year passing, I'm not half way through mine, just paid payment 30 (assuming no extension).
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
