Just waiting a reply back off our 1st annual review.
1 year down, 5 to go! (plus another year maybe when we look at equity in the house).
I feel like this year has gone by quite quickly but still a bit upset we are stuck in a starter home that’s too small and in 6 years our kids will be teenagers and a lot bigger!
Apart from that though.... it’s been a good year. Not worrying about debt, living an ok life. Enjoying our half of over time payments and bonus’. We’ve even been able to pay for a small holiday in June (in this country) but still a holiday.
It’s juat so nice to know our money is our money and we aren’t juggling credit card bills!
The time does pass quickly if you don't dwell on it, or get eaten up by the niggles of life in an IVA. Concentrate more on the relief from creditors pressures and you soon adjust.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

I'm 3.5 years in. The first year flew by. The second year and most of the third seemed to drag. Now I can say that I'll finish "Next year" and the light is definitely getting brighter at the end of the tunnel.
Well done-you’re getting closer to a debt free future!
Don’t worry too much about your growing family, at least you stand to keep your home. Our kids grew up squeezed into a tiny house, but they never even noticed. It was full of love and laughter and that’s what they remember, and yours will too. Better that than stressed out parents worried sick about mounting debts.
We got our annual review back and very pleased. Our payment was decreased (only by £10) but still happy. My husband had received a pay rise but we lost our tax credits (due to income being over the threshold). So we broke even there.
