so 50 days left on my IVA before the last payment would have been made on February1st

but I feel like its as far away as if it had been the first payment …...I don't understand why I'm not feeling more excited and happy to be on the final countdown, sometimes I fell more depressed and more worried than I did say 2 years ago

the Marathon is almost over and I feel like I'm heading in to Birdcage walk for the final push ……...but my head and heart are just not together on this
is this normal has anyone else felt like this when they had almost got to the end

The human condition is a strange thing --- just as we feel bereaved when losing a loved one, we also feel bereaved when winning the lottery -- the loss of an old way of life. You are about to lose the shackles of debt and you will go through the run od emotions, just as many of us do at the start --- but, like then, it will settle down.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Don't forget that this year has been a depressing one for all of us and that probably isn't helping. It will be here before you know it and you can rest in the knowledge that next year will be a debt free one.

So 50 days left - what have you planned for day 51 and beyond ... when you receive that certificate of completion you will I promise feel a huge sense of relief and your life will feel like it is starting again.

2020 has been a huge challenge for us all and hopefully by Easter next year we will be seeing a real downward turn in the pandemic due to vaccinations having taken place which in turn will open up opportunities to travel, be with family and friends and enjoy life once again.

You have done so well to get to this stage ... just another couple of months ...

What's going to be your personal treat come March as a well done to finishing payment of your iva?

Thank you everyone for some wise words to keep me in the right direction

the treat in March will be to take my amazing Wife out for a massive thank you meal, she has been a rock and without her understanding and support I hate to think what might have happened

and then save for a fantastic holiday for the family which is well overdue
