Hi all , just want to vent off a little and seek your views
I started my IVA in Oct 2011 the duration was 72 months with and addition 12 months for the equity release .
In Oct 19 I paid my last monthly payment, got a confirmation from .. yes wait for it you know who .. Apiture . That shows I had made 84 monthly payments, not a single missed payment and all I &E review submitted on time

In Dec I contacted them just to get a idea on completion dates , I was informed again by email that completion will be in early Jan 19

Ok here’s the kick in the teeth . Today I receive a letter from apiture date 28 November 18 ?

It is effectively the annual report , to my horror the report is missing 11months payments and indicates I am 11 months in arraers
Even worse the Supervisor states : arrangement may not progress to full implementation

As you can imagine, the stress this as caused is unmeasurable,

How can this be ,
I have emailed them tonight and will try phoning but they very often do not answer

I am hoping this is a critical error at their end

As anyone else been in a situation like this , don’t know where to turn now .. I honestly thought after 84 months the light was at the end of the tunnel

It will be an error. Call them first thing, insist on speaking to a supervisor and explain...don't be fobbed off with anything. You have paid 84 payments - ask them to explain which 11 payments they believe they have not had, then get your bank statements together and prove it to them ...
Am pretty confident it will be resolved quite quickly.

I agree with Luluj -- this sounds like an error on their part (not unheard of). In any event you will be able to prove your payments if needs be with bank statements showing them all going out.

Just wanted to provide you all with a update

After 2 emails and over 1 hour on the phone I finally got through to an adviser , after some let’s say dogged debate ., I final got confirmation that it was a admin error ...I went back into work with a spring in my step , however I was not prepared for the email I recieved not 20 min later ...

Hi Congratulations! I am pleased to advise that your IVA successfully completed today.

A copy of your Final Report and Certificate of Completion will be issued to you and the Registrar notified of the successful completion of your arrangement. Please allow approximately ten working days for your final report to reach you.

This is a fantastic achievement and you should be very proud of your efforts and commitment throughout your arrangement.

What happens next?...

Your details will appear on the Insolvency Register for three months following the notification that your case has successfully completed.
Your creditors will update your credit file typically around eight weeks after completion.
Aperture do not have access to do this on your behalf however please do not hesitate to contact us should you experience any difficulty with the updating of your records.
Any property restriction will be removed by Land Registry approximately two weeks after completion.
I have provided some telephone numbers and website links that may be useful for you at the end of this email.

As you can imagine, I am over the moon right now

All that is left for me to say is no matter wher you are on you IVA journey.. keep going , never give up , there will be dark time , there will be even darker time .. but the end result is worth every heartache you go through..

And finally thank you for everyone who posts on here like me I would image there are many people who sit quietly reading and learning from your experiences

Signing off
