Well I'm listening to Leeds Utd beat Watford 1-0 at the moment (Fingers crossed it stays this way!) waiting for my girlfriend to arrive.

She is at work (In Sheffield) and doesn't finish till 6pm, so it will be 7.30pm by the time she arrives. I have not seen her for a week which sucks big time. She is staying over tonight and I'm cooking something simple tonight and tomorrow lunch time I am doing a 3 course meal for her to celebrate us approaching 6 months together. [:D]

I've been into Leeds today to run a few errands and buy the stuff I needed to make a yummy but cheapish meal (Certainly cheaper than taking her out lol).

Starter: Homemade small cheese and onion quiche with salad.
Main: Cod poached in Chopped Tomatoes with Basil and Spinach (Everything apart from the fish from my own garden!)
Dessert: Home made apple pie with Cinnamon Cream

Does it sounds good lol?

I have also spent 3 hours cleaning my house top to bottom, including 2 hours moving the furniture round the living room to make better us eof the space, I can't tell you how dirty it was under some of the furniture [V]

I'm thinking of going to the train station to surprise her as she thinks I'm meeting her at the bus stop near my house.....

What a wonderfully thoughtful partner you are Luke, the meal I'm sure will go down splendidly and if you surprise her at the train station that will be special.

Own produce from the garden cleaning, cooking you sound like the perfect man!

Aww thanks I think I'm a pretty good catch too lol. [;)]

I do try to be a thoroughly modern man, I always end up doing my fair share of the housework etc and quite often more cos I'm good at it and don't mind doing it lol.

Right I've just made myself look as good as possible (Took a fair few hours....) time to set off.

Hope y'all have a great Saturday night!! xx

I've jinxed it lol. Just been on national rail website and her train at 18.21 is cancelled so she has to get the 18.24 which is a slower train and takes twice as long....arrive Leeds 19.45.

Guess I'll put my feet up for a while.....

Thanks all, last night was great, she walked right past me at Leeds Station lol. My enchilladas went down very well with her. [:)]

Got up at 07.08 on Sunday (What's that all about?) and went to the shop in my fave weather, cool, cloudy, little bit of sun trying to come out and bit of wind. Got back home and the heavens opened, now totally siling it down haha.

Just made the god lady breakfast, she is watching TV and I'm surfing the net as usual, this is what Sundays are made for [:D]

Glad she enjoyed the evening and your Sunday sounds perfect.

The weather is not nice here - just managed to get back with the dogs as it started raining.

Typical Bank Holiday weekend.

Look in the dictionary for the definition of 'Bank Holiday'

Bank Holiday - Public Holiday, usually on a Friday or a Monday. 99% chance it will rain.

Sun's out here but I've decided to clear out the spare rooms and declutter, not that I've moved just yet!

Sounds like a wonderful evening Luke and I agree Sundays are for lazing (usually). x

It's awful here, really heavy showers. We just managed to get back in time from walking the dogs.

I even wore my gloves this morning when we went out!
