Just to say life doesn't come to an end when you're in an IVA! We are a family of 5 and are still going to enjoy a Summer holiday - albeit a modest caravan one but nevertheless our kids 13,6 and 2 are really excited!! I'm shopping at Aldi before I go so we can eat our meals in (can't afford Asda or Tesco anymore)and spend a small amount of money enjoying the leisure in the evenings. Our kids don't need to suffer for our mess.
Hope you can all enjoy a holiday break too [8D]
xx

Hi
Great post and yes if you really scrimp and save you can enjoy the odd treat in an IVA.
Bet it will be the most enjoyable holiday that you have ever had

You are bound to have a fine time all of you and the kids will love it. I've been all around the world on holidays in my time, but quite frankly I enjoy my camping weekends more than anything else in the world. Very cheap - and enjoying nature as the good Lord made it for us!

You would love it Jan - with D doing the cooking, and you sitting in your deckchair watching the world go by, and the dogs scampering after bunny rabbits .......!!!

I've done camping, from the extremely basic (no mod cons at all, nothing for miles around!) to a reasonable (mouse infested!) tent in the South of France.

Never again!

Unless it was the worlds most luxurious tent with all mod cons close hand - no!

I hope you enjoy your holiday I'm sure it's well deserved and like you say why should our children suffer because of our mess.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

WE booked a long weekend camping in the New Forest.
WE had a good time, but was flabberghasted at how much it cost.
Best Wishes,
Tina x

I love the New Forest but I have to say I would need a B & B rather than a tent!
