hi i have an iva in situ but im unsure about a debt i don't know if i missed it i thought it was included. Anyway this debt collection agency has still been hounding me and has added further costs to the original bill. I have asked my iva company about this and they have responded by asking me if they were included in my iva. I want to know that if they have not been included can i add them now or will i have to make repayment plans for this particular debt.

Your proposal / chairman's report will list the creditors included --- and your provider should be able to tell you rather than asking you !

If it has not been included it might be able to go in now, as long as it doesn't drastically reduce the dividend --- if it does, your IP will need to ask the other creditors and they might mitigate this by extending the term of the IVA --- as long as they are satisfied that the omission was a genuine error.

How much was your original debt and how much is this 'new' debt ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
