I am in an iva but have recently got another dent which occurred after the Iva was set up. Can I add this to my iva?

Unlikely -- you are not allowed to incur further debt whilst in an IVA.
How much is the new debt and might I ask why you took it out ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

'New' debts incurred post IVA will be your responsibility to pay and cannot be included as a creditor of the IVA.
If you obtained credit you may also have breached the terms of your IVA.
How much is the debt for?
