Hi guys! Me and my partner have gone through all of our options in regards to debt management and we have decided the best way forward is it to get an IVA then start fresh for our future. I have been racking my brain trying to find the best company and which way to go about it. Can anyone recommend a company to us? & Would you do separate IVA's or look to do a joint one? And in general any advice would be greatly apricated. Thank you in advance!

The chances are you will be offered an interlocking pair of IVA's, where they basically lump everything together and organise one payment.

I cannot recommend a particular firm, but maybe some members will come forward with their experiences. It is best to chat to a few as, as the saying goes, "One man's meat is another man's poison". Personally I prefer the smaller firms where you can speak to the IP if needed and will be treated as an individual, rather than the "IVA factories" where you will be a grain of sand on a very large beach. A look around the forum will give some clues.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It might be a good idea to speak to a couple and see how you feel about them.

Some of the bigger firms have gatekeepers that stop you from ever actually speaking to your IP.

I would recommend a smaller firm but then I am bias!

As regards interlocking IVAs it really depends on your circumstances so I couldn't advise without a lot more information.

I'd be happy to chat to you and give you some initial advice.
