I had an iva back in 2012.it failed in 2014 due to unforeseen circumstances. I now have an arrangement with my creditors and recently had a letter from Barclaycard saying I was owed some additional money from my ppi complaint. however they had stated that due to the court case this was now paid to the iva company to distribute to my creditors. I can see there has been an appeal but it is all in legal jargon. Could you please advise what is the current situation with ppi complaints. should the iva company now send me the ppi compensation?

The case has been finished and the appeal dealt with. The current position is that PPI belongs to the IVA, even after it has finished or terminated as a trust still exists. The money has to go to the former IP to distribute to creditors. It might be that he or she thinks this is uneconomical and will return the money to you.
