After completion of a 5year IVA plan do you still remain on credit register for another six years

Hi Sharon and welcome to the forum.

Once you have completed your IVA you will drop off the Insolvency Register within a few weeks. Your IVA will remain on your credit record for a further twelve months and then disappear.

If you have any defaults showing after the date of approval of your IVA you need to write to those creditors to tell them to remove them.

You can then start to build your credit rating up again.

Hi Sharon72,

I have just finished my IVA and it now doesn't show on the Insolvency Register anymore. But will show on credit file for a further year following completion.
