Can I claim PPI and unenforcable loans on those included in the IVA - obviously the PPI would be paid directly into IVA but if the loans were deemed unenforcable and took my debt to below IVA requirements would I then have to continue to pay into IVA or could I go into DMP to pay off the rest. I have been in IVA for 18 months and know I have made the wrong decision plus the IVA company aren't brilliant - am I able to change companies during IVA?
It is unlikely that you would be able to change, it would cost far too much money and would involve a variation at court.
I would not recommend going for unenforceable debt, it is unlikely that you will win.
PPI will only go towards your IVA and your creditors will receive more.

It sounds like a good idea on paper, but in reality it is likely to get nowhere. Which company are you with that has had so many IP changes in such a short time?
I wonder if silverlining means case officers rather than IPs?

No Kallis I had different IP's appointed at each review at the end of the first , second and third year.Originally it was Mackenzie, Goldberg, Johnson Ltd, the after a year it was Simon Westhead & Associates then it went to Invocas.
Unusual - I can only assume that each company has sold out to another,
Apologies for that.

No worries. There was another poster who went through the same process with the same companies. All based in Manchester so it sounded like the debt supervision was being sold on. I did ask the question why at one time and was told it was the nature of the debt industry. Or something to that affect.
It probably is - I know of a couple of companies who have changed hands in the past twelve months or so.
Very unsettling for those of you involved.

It is actually quite rare to see IVA portfolio's sold - but I am afraid that a few players have been forced to leave the market perhaps due to the revenue cuts we have all had to bear over the last two years.
