Am i at the risk of loosing my frozen pension?

I currently have an IVA I am paying minimum pension as requested. I have a frozen pension from many years ago and would like to transfer this into my new pension. is this wise or am I at risk of loosing my frozen pension?

Pensions are usually exempt unless you cash them in. I would think transferring an old one to a current one would not cause a problem but get the okay from your IP first.

Your paperwork should list your current pension undert assets and will say whether this is excluded or not ( they usually are). Transfers from one pension fund to another are done between the relevant funds and will not show up on your bank statements / payslips etc. I doubt there would be any impact on the IVA, but always best to check with your own IP.
