Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

So it's been nearly a week, and Lloyds have unfroze my current account I have with them (I had a credit card with them). During the freeze, my friend went and sent me some money she owed me to that account, so that's lost forever. My other friend did the same thing this morning, and it arrived! So can i use that account now as normal do you think? Very odd.
*I do have a different account which I opened and use as my normal day-to-day account, but my friends didn't ask about my account, and just sent the money over to my old one without checking*
I would not use the old account --- just use the new one. The money your friend sent while the account was frozen should either now be available in the old account ( I would take out in cash anything in there) or should have bounced back to your friends account --- it should not be 'lost forever'.

They should stop soon. It does take a long time for information to filter down to the call centres. Just tell them you are in an IVA and they should notbenot be calling you. Letters can be forwarded to your IP for them to deal with, otherwise just shed them or return to sender (will be at their cost.)

As Kallis says, it takes a while to filter through and, I imagine, the current pandemic is slowing things down even more --- the computers happily carry on spitting out automated letters, but no human is available to press the right buttons to get it to stop !
