Hi all

I have recently applied for a job in a school and have been a bit shortisted.

I am a bit scared as to whether completing a full and final will be checked out etc. The application was long and they wanted to know everything, I mean everything the whole ins and outs of just about everything including where I have lived for the past 6 years. Will it come up, you know the debt secret thing? I am sure its a bit rough on teachers having entered legal insolvency proceedings and I am doing a teaching type course along with this application. Is there someone who could put my mind at rest?

Thanks and I hope everyone is fine and dandy.

Hi Lily and nice to see you.

Well done on being shortlisted, I'm sure you will be fine.

Does it specifically mention finances? If not and there is nothing on the form to say they will check then I thnk you will be ok.

It is probably just the standard CRB check that they will do.

I teach Lilli and I've never disclosed it, have to have a yearly enhanced CRB check but nothing financial. I'm sure you'll be fine and good luck!

I do agree the process of application is a long one though xx

Hi right back and thanks for a quick response, I hope you are well.

It mentions something about list 99, which I now know is something to do with not being able to work with children, which wouldn't apply to me. It did not mention anything specifically about debts. I had an extended, enhanced police check in my job before,I don't remember giving so much personal information in that job and our patients were most vulnerable. It is probably me getting myself in a state worrying if anything would actually come out. I have been trying so hard to move on from all that happened.

Thanks hun.

A bit scared to be honest, its a disability supporting role.

Hope your little twins are still doing well, I think about you a lot.

God bless

My stepdaughter teaches Lily, and she has just told me that it is highly unlikely that your credit record will have any impact upon a job offer.

Let us know how you get on - you will be perfect to work with kids.
