Hi,
Just wondering if anyone had any update on the length of time Aperture were taking to close IVA'S and issue completion certificates? We offered a full and final settlement in May 2019 which was finally completed in early October 2019. Phoned last week and there was no progress made on our account. Does anyone know if they are still finalising around the 6 month mark or longer?
According to recent posts they are still taking 6 months, sometimes more, to complete. The problem is compounded by the fact that they seem to start the '6 month countdown' from when the file crosses the corridor to the closures department -- this journey alone can take a couple of months, it seems !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Hi! I recently completed my IVA with Aperture, this took 5 months after my final payment (July 2019).
Make sure that you phone them for update every week to follow up and ask if there are no any other requirements you need to do, like final I&E, as they might ask you this and ask for additional payments, this is when delays happen.
Hoping all goes well with yours.
My last scheduled payment with them was 1st of July 19, phoned them every month for progress update received scripted response every time that it can take 3-6 months to complete, then towards the end of November they requested a random spread of payslips in addition to the requested payslips provided at the beginning of July for the final review. This is when the final review actually started the last week of November! Then Just before Xmas they requested a large final payment to proceed to closure, I'm still in the process of gathering the required funds to make that final payment, then after that is paid according to the customer service rep I spoke to it could take another "3-6 months" before the completion certificate arrives...
So be prepared for a long slow completion Aperture are rubbish!
