I finished my 7 year I VA 2 years ago I had to go through twitter to get a response from Aperture 4 months ago to get my closure letter . I got my letter. They then blocked me om Facebook and twitter and have not replied to 3 emails . I am asking them why my credit score om clearscore is showing a debt with Nationwide still as its affecting my credit score .. no reply .. yet just 2 days ago they sent me a form to fill in about money O may get back for paying too much interest. I have not sent the form off .

What can I do about my 411 credit score on clear score .. on noodld it dsys 711 . Is there a better place to see my credit score. Why are Aperturd so awful . Is there someone I can complain to thank you

If your credit report is incorrect you can approach the individual creditor and ask that it be changed..you may have to show them a copy of your completion certificate.

Aperture will have a complaints procedure which you should follow, give them 10 days to respond before writing to the Ombundsman

What creditors show on your credit reports is between them and the credit reference agency -- Aperture have no involvement here. Does the account with Nationwide show as in default or just in arrears ? Have a read here and maybe adapt the template to suit: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record

I had the same, my default dates were incorrect & a couple of things didn’t fall off my report when they should have dragging my score way down.

Just speak to the creditors directly & they will correct it for you, although it took me a few months & several phone calls to get it all corrected. Worth it in the end though.

Check to see if your name has been removed from the Insolvency Register:

It will be on for 3 months after your completion letter goes to the register.

Your numerical score on all of the credit reference agencies will be different (and is pretty much meanlingless anyway as lenders do not actually see a 'score') -- this is the same for all of us, with or without an IVA in our stories. As well as this, some lenders report to only one and some all of the agencies -- so our histories and creditors appear different too -- this is why, when clearing up a credit history you need to check with all of the agencies. It is also better to look at a copy of your statutory report, rather than rely on Clearscore or Noddle and the like.

Have a word with Ryan and / or Shaun regarding mortgages. They are whole of market brokers who have experience of dealing with applications from those of us with an IVA in our past.
