Need some advice, after getting myself into a massive hole to the tune of £46k and living in my overdraft to pay the loans and credit cards it became quickly apparent I only had a few more months till I had no way of paying my debts. I rang Aperture on the 17th June and my IVA proposal was sent on the 19th as I don’t have any assets, private rent and apart from everyday loans they were hopeful the rest (10) would agree however Everyday are about 20% of the debt and apparently always reject IVAs. I have to tell my employer and I’m terrified I will get sacked for having unmanageable debt. If the IVA is refused I don’t know what I will do - I haven’t slept or eaten in days. I’m really at my wits end. How long does it normally take for a decision ? Has anyone had everyday loans agree to an iva? Has anyone been sacked for being in this position ? I see no way out if this isn’t agreed please any advice ???
Everyday don't hold 25% of your debt so as long as the others vote and agree you should be ok.
Why have you got to tell your employer? What job do you do?
