Hi, I completed my IVA in 2012 after coming to a deal with Grant Thornton that was accepted by all parties. I am now in the process of asking for PPI back from the RBS and they have gone to my IP, but don't know the persons name who was my IP. My question is, are GT still involved in IVA cases please?

GT have been 're-badged' as Aperture and will be dealimng with all old GT cases. In all likelyhood the PPI refund will be paid to Aperture for distributing among your former creditors.

Hi Foggy

Thanks for your reply, Just another question now please? If the Redress I get back from the RBS is more that what is owing to my IVA, am I entitled to claim the extra cash for myself please?

If the redress brings the total amount that you have paid towards your IVA to an amount which covers the full original debt, fees and possible statutory interest you will get back the excess.

Currently Aperture are agreeing to customers using their chosen claims company to allow them to retain any interest element on the refund -- I would try it and ask if you, too, could retain interest.
