One thing i've enjoyed about being in the IVA is going back to basic and having fun. The kids dont need to go to theme parks etc. This weekend we've been out in local parks and played the old fashioned games with picnics, thrown in with a bit of homemade baking alongside a home made cinema night and have had a lovely weekend with merely coppers spent. Its really made me aware of what is important and how previously we would of spent money friviously on not alot and felt no better for it. Just a bigger credit card bill the month after!!!!

I'm glad I don't have small children now, we don't have to worry about entertainment.

We rarely go out and are quite happy to be with the dogs and watching TV.

I can sympathise with people who do have kids though. It must be a nightmare.

Sounds good Struzzo, an I bet you feel all the better for it.
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

Sounds like fun!

We had a film night a couple of weeks ago and let the 2 youngest choose a dvd each.
I had to suffer 90 minutes of the penguins of madagascar!!!!

Sounds like a wonderful weekend. I love going to the park with a picnic, flying a kite or shall we say attempting to fly a kite, ball games, granddaughter goes off where I can see her and all is safe, she collects, stones, fir cones, anything really and thinks she's got treasure! x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
