Most banks will offer a basic account. Many people in an IVA use the Co-Operative Bank Cashminder Account. Ones to avoid are HSBC and First Direct, who tend to close accounts when an IVA surfaces.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Agree with Foggy - try the Co-op but it has to be on the phone or in branch.
