Hello,

I am at present recovering thousands of pounds from my bank accounts for unlawful charges (see link on here).

My Question is, if I do my credit card companies, and then apply for an IVA, is this going to go against me.[?]

Thanks

Spog

The quick answer is NO it should not. An IVA should be accepted as long as you offer a reasonable return to you creditors and that it puts them in a better position than they would be in Bankruptcy.

However, as it's name suggests an IVA is individual in nature and a creditor can vote no to your proposal for any reason that they see fit.

Hope this information is of use
