Banking problem

I started an IVA and my bank (Barclays) just told me I can’t use their app during an IVA but there is an alternative- the online banking. As I try to use it, I could login but can’t make any payment such rent. Is this because of the IVA or I should call the bank to see what’s the problem? Thank you

You need to speak to the bank. I do not see why you cannot access the app, yet, in theory, can access online banking. But, I suppose 'that's the rules' as far as Barclays are concerned. I used co-op cashminder accounts during my IVA had had full functionality.

I switched my bank from NatWest to Barclays for my iva and I never told them I was applying for a Iva when I switched banks and I’ve got the mobile banking app fine. I would call them as cannot see why you can’t use their online app.
