Hi and welcome to the forum. Well done on completing 46 months you're very nearly there. I keep looking at the government cuts and having a shudder but hopefully they won't affect us too much. If you lost your job there would be options and hopefully that won't happen and at this stage in your IVA it wouldn't be in anyones best interst for the IVA to fail. xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Mine is going well too thank you, I struggled initially due to bad luck out of my control and ended up in arrears almost from day one but now they're caught up the extra monies each month really do make all the difference. I'm about to make payment 30 so half way for me. I'm with Melanie Giles who posts on the forum and I can 100% say she is a brilliant IP. x

i am with freeman jones i have never missed any payments and when overtime was offered i did it and gave 50% over i have had 5 managers over the 46 months so far looking after me i owed money to lloyds tsb ,hfc bank , and mbna
lloyds still have the debt of mine and wont sell it on while mbna sold the debt right away once my iva got apoved and then 2 years ago hfc then sold the debt so my main crediters is max recover who brought the debt of hfc and mbna.
my ip.lesley is JAMES CAMPBELL GIBSON

I am glad it's gone so well for you and it's good for other posters to see that an IVA is a great debt solution if suited to your circumstance. x

Do try to not worry about things that have not happened yet. It is very unlikely that your IVA would fail if you have made 46 payments to date, and with each months payment this brings you closer to the end.

The industry average is a success rate of around 60% to 70% - but your own IP firm may enjoy higher or lower rates.
