Has anyone else had any dealings with Black Horse Finance?
I ask because last weekend I recieved yet another letter off them demanding money. I can now see the total owed to them is now over £5K. When I entered the IVA this was included and owed just under £4K??
When I spoke to Blair Endersby when I recived the last letter they just asked me forward the letters/statements to them. I also asked them about the debt as they keep putting up the figures. They replied stating that I will only pay back what I owed at the time I started the IVA.
Is this right?

No interest can be added after the approval of the IVA. Black Horse will have submitted a proof of debt by now but there may be a fault in one of their systems if you are still getting correspondence. However, it will not affect the level of your debt.

Hi,

You are protected immediately when commencement of the IVA begins so Black Horse are wasting there time keep adding charges etc.as they cannot do anything to you. I would get back in touch with Blair Endersby and get them to speak to Black Horse again so that these letters stop.

No need to worry (they were one of my creditors)

Thanks all.
They've been a right pain in the ar5e to me. They are the only creditors I recieve letters/calls off. I'll ring BE now.

We also had letters recently from BH... I wondered if it is a year end thing, as we also got 2 from Halifax. Both stated figures which seem to include additional interest since iva started,

I never queried them as I assumed they were just system generated?

They are obliged to send statements out once a year, but they're nothing to worry about.

Just forward them on to your IP.
