Thank you all very much, for the voucher and for your kind wishes and thoughts. I actually don't know what to say because words are not enough. Ironic really as I am not often short of words :). However I will say that I think the support this forum provides for people with serious money issues but also for all of us dealing with our own personal life issues is incredible. Again, thank you. All of you.

Hi

Blog of the week winner w/e 7/12/14 is Peejayel

Peejayel's Story http://peejayel.blogs.iva.co.uk/

Recently updated to show us what a year in the IVA has been like for PJL and what a year it has been! Begins by saying the last year has gone by and in only 3.5 months and it will be over. Review time came and no extra money was requested by the IP, although PJL remains a little apprehensive this will be asked for a the end as there was a change in circumstance. After receiving a yearly bonus and paying the uplift required to her IP a holiday was booked. An accident darkened the mood of a positive year and the holiday was cancelled. Please read this excellent blog and as a forum we sincerely wish PJL's husband a continued recovery and trust the holiday that is rebooked will be most enjoyable.

Enjoy your £100 One4all voucher

Regards
Andam Davies

Wow thanks Andy, And thank you to everyone on the forum who is on my fb list for the kind messages regarding hubby when he had his accident. He is just grateful he is alive, the drs say he should make a full recovery just slowly unlike his bike which has gone to the grat scooter mortuary in the sky. Think once the IVA is over driving lessons for me will be on the list as we need to be mobile I am finding it difficult to do a weeks shopping on my scooter lots of little trips as even with a topbox I can't carry that much.
Do you need me to email you my address Andy?

Well deserved ... why not do a home delivery shop rather than try and balance it on your scooter !

Hi lulu, I prefer to touch and feel fruit and veg and look at meat, I dont trust others to shop for me lol. The only time I do online shoping is from Amazon or not perishable stuff like we bought some new sunlounger chairs in spring and did those online. I like the experiance of going into a shop and browsing as well, it just doesn't feel the same doing it online. lol

You could do what I do Peejayel. I get all the boring stuff online on a supermarket delivery (midweek, costs £1 delivery)and go out and get the fresh stuff myself. Even butter etc is OK online. That way you would be able to go and browse and lighten the load.

Congrats! I love reading the blogs. I just wish more people didthem more often! I found it really helpful to let things go from my mind and to reread as I went through.

Hi

Blog of the week winner for W/E 26/04/15 is Longslog101 "The Past, The Present and The Future"– a first time blogger.

http://longslog101.blogs.iva.co.uk/

After realising they were in a ‘financial mess’, followed by a visit to the CAB an IVA was suggested, initially a scary prospect and not an option at that time so a DMP was opted for. After about 6 months, a re-think of the IVA, another chat with a professional and discovering www.iva.co.uk ‘an educational gold mine!’ Through research of the site and chatting with a couple more professionals a lump sum IVA was proposed.

Longslog101 does say within the blog entry ‘thank goodness I didn’t jump in feet first 6 months ago!’ The lump sum IVA was accepted and extends gratitude to McCambridge Duffy.

Have a read,I’m sure you’ll agree a very worthy winner of blog of the week, enjoy your £100 One4all voucher and do keep blogging!

Regards
Andam Davies
