Hi

My IVA was moved to CreditfIx along with many other Knightsbridge customers.

I wrote to them last week as I have had a bonus payment and was requesting if I could keep any of the bonus paid over to my creditors as we are in need of a new sofa, tumble dryer (last one died after 17 years!) amongst other things. I know it was a long shot but if you don't ask, you don't know.

I've now had a reply saying that they need to see my payslip so I've sent that across today. It also states that normally creditors won't allow that we use the uplift for personal expenses - fair enough

What they have suggested is that they set up a catch up plan or extend the case (not willing to do this as it's been extended to cover a car purchase)

I haven't heard of a catch up plan before - can anyone explain this to me?`

Many thanks in advance

Hi. At least half of that bonus is yours anyway, assuming you have the usual clauses, possibly a little more. As for the catch up plan -- this sounds like an informal agreed payment of arrears by adding a small amount to your regular payment over the next few payments.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
