Hi, I am wondering whether anyone could possibly help me.....I am four and a half years into my IVA, and I have been offered a small business opportunity (Franchise!)
Trouble is...I need a business account to start it up and so far I have been declined (I admit, I have only tried HSBC so far!) at the credit search level.
I am just wondering whether anyone knows of a way round this?
I just need a basic no frills business account with no overdraft/credit facilities!!
Thank you

Hi my daughter was bankrupt but ran her own business before hand and she banked with Nat West. They allowed her to keep the account but not as a director so she was just a signature Now she has been discharges and once again a director she has full privileges restored.

Thanks for all the replies, Andy...when I contact A&L should I mention that I have an IVA or just keep quiet about it? Thank you
