Hi
All IVAs are individual but can be interlocking. There is nothing to stop a Mother and Daughter having interlocking IVAs.

Their circumstances are linked so any proposals they would do would need to be in conjunction with each other. However, there is no such thing as a joint IVA but that does not mean they cannot speak to an IP firm together.

Hi Michael - welcome to the forum, as the others have said, yes it is possible but their full circumstances would need to be understood to make sure it is a viable option, and of course in their best interests to do one.

Only when they have fully discussed their situation with professionals will they understand if it is a real possibility. There are many good companies and IPs who post on here if they are looking for help and we always advise speaking to more than one company to get a comparison.

Anything any of us can do to help just let us know,

Hi and welcome to the forum, why not suggest they take a look at www.iva.com for a list of companies and some reviews of these. A good starting point and please advise them to take the impartial free case specific advice from 2 or 3 companies.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I would tend to try and do them separately if the DI permits.
