I have just received a letter from DCBL Runcorn for an alleged parking fine on
7th June 2018 for £170. I never received notification of this as we had moved address. We have since sold the car.
I entered an IVA in February 2021 as I had multiple debts and am not in a position to pay this fine as I am a retired OAP.
Can this fine be added to my IVA?
It depends what sort of fine this is. If it is a standard parking charge, yes it can --- with the agreement of your IP. If it is a court imposed fine then maybe not, in which case your IP might grant a payment break from the IVA payments to allow you to pay it off --- this will be added back on at the end of the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
If you are saying this is an alleged parking fine, can you dispute it?

Thanks for your help but through looking again at the fine I now realise that I was at the Brewers Fayre on Barry Island with an elderly lady. Apparently there have been hundreds of complaints on Trip advisor about this pub using parking eye to man the car park.
I rang the manager of Brewers Fayre yesterday and he is handling the fine and will try to squash the fine for me. I will not be paying it!!!!
