I had an IVA in march 2012 paid it off early in 2014. I have just been told I am needed to go as a signatory on business bank account with barclays, Barclays was one of my creditors, will this effect me being able to go as signatory as really don't want my employer to know about my IVA

My understanding is that they are likely to do a credit check, but, as long as everything has been taken care of, the IVA and defaults should have disappeared back in March 2018 and should not be an issue.
I have credit card with one of my former creditors and the past issues did not seem to have affected my application with them.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Barclays was a creditor of mine and I have been able to take out a loan with them since with no problem.

Loan taken out five years after IVA finished, plus credit for a stairlift and electric bed both since paid off.
