Can I manage finance without using a bank ?

I have but want to start a new year with no banks can't get on to me

Not sure I fully understand your question.

You would struggle these days not to have a bank account as your income / benefits are all paid direct to your account, likewise your household bills are cheaper sometimes when direct debits are set up.
Nothing to stop you withdrawing cash once all bill money is left in the account and then using cash for food, fuel and leisure etc.

Hi Paul -- do you mean that you want to start the new year with your debt dealt with and without lenders chasing you ? If so I would suggest a chat with a couple of IPs to see which route is the best one as there are several possibilities, depending on your circumstances.

Hi,

I agree that you need to take advice. As regards banks, if Co-op aren't a creditor you can get a basic account with them. You have to do it over the phone or in a branch though.
