We are currently in an IVA (30 months in)which was negotiated over 6 years instead of 5 (one creditor wasn't happy). We both have good public sector jobs and would like to move abroad to Australia with our children. Will I have to wait for IVA to be completed or can I move my IVA with me? Would I need a C/O address here or will they post to me abroad? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As long as you can maintain the payments then you can carry on from Australia. You won't need to maintain an address here either as far a I am aware.

I have a few clients who have emigrated during their IVA, and it should not be a problem so long as you can maintain your IVA payments. Do check out living costs well before you leave, as they can fluctuate greatly abroad from what we are used to over here.
