By scrimping and scraping and doing without , it may be possible if I am careful to attempt to pay my IVA early. I pay £100 per month and have 12 months left to pay. If I can save half of that in the next 6 months by going short myself, because i am anxious to clear this millstone from around my neck do you think that it is a viable option all be it i can accumulate the money required. And will the IVA accept that it is my effort and mine alone that would enables me to pay them. I would like to know the answer to that. Of course I may not be able to do it but I would like to try and see what I can do

Trying to save 6 months will be a waste of time. It will take 2 or 3 months to get the offer accepted and then you would only have three to go. Also, if the creditors became aware that you could live off less and pay them more they might well say that the money should be paid in anyway !

Agree with Foggy - not worth it now - keep going until the end.
