can i put my pension pot aside to pay for my funeral in an iva

If you have drawn it out and it is sitting in your bank account --- no. It is an asset that they may require you to pay over.

Leave your pension in at the moment so it cannot be taken as a lump sum.

The other thing is, if you can afford it out of your allowances is to take out one of the over 50's or funeral plans.
