Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Forgive me for being thick, but what is a designated premises supervisor?

Hi Steven.49 - welcome to the forum - I too like Jan don't know what one of those is but if it is the job you currently do you will need to check your contract of employment and employee handbook to see if entering into an arrangement with your creditors will affect your job in any way.

If the role is connected to a charity or society you will need to check their constitution or rule book to check the same.

To add however, an IVA in itself does not prevent you from doing any particular job like bankruptcy can, it is the rules of the organisation you are with that dictate what you can and can't do.

I understand it to be the person licensed for a property, I have contact with the DPS of the Church hall next door to me to ensure the noise levels are kept to a minimum etc.,
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi
Yes you can
You can hold a personal liquor license and designated premises licence in an IVA but not a premises licence in bankruptcy, although you can still hold a personal license

I agree with Andy - having acted for several persons in the same boat as you quite successfully with regard to IVA proceedings.

As far as I am aware there have been no changes and you can be a DPS. If in doubt contact your local authority.
