Hi Robert and welcome to the forum.

Is there any reason why you want to end the IVA? How long have you been in it. If you are struggling then your IP may be able to help you.

You can let your IVA fail by missing three payments (which will give you time to save up the £600 fee). You'll get a termination certificate which you will need to show to the court.

Bear in mind that your credit will be shot for a further six years and you may have to make payments for another three years. It could damage your employment depending upon what industry you work in and if you have any assets such as a house or car worth more than about £2k, you could lose them.

been in IVA for 2 yaers and struggling to make payments esp the last 6 months. The original IVA company was taken over earlier on this year, and to contact the new company cost about £6 per fone call from my mobile. i dont have a landline. The IP hasnt contacted me and the comapany hasnt returned documents submitted in may, and i havent spoken to them since june. Where do i get a termination cert from? My credit rating has been shot to peices for the last 5-6 years coz of mismanagment from the people i've approached and i'm tired of it all and just want to bring it to an end. Dont own a house n car is on HP which is due to end april 2011.
