if I have a completion certificate from my iva company and I have an ppi from a company that the iva didn't have on my creditors list as it was a secure loan on the property do the iva have the rights to keep my ppi payment
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
Some IP's ( a rare few) will allow PPI from secured lending (ie not in the IVA) to be kept .... but most will not. In the opinion of the Courts PPI belongs to your former creditors. Again, some IP's will return it to you if they consider it uneconomical to dig out old records and contact former creditors.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
