Can you apply for PPI after IVA?

Hi just wondered if after an iva you can apply for PPI ? I've asked Gladstone Brookes to send me a form but now I'm not sure ? I've tried looking online for info but can't find any! Many thanks

Hi,

You can apply, but unless you have paid back your total debt plus fees, the money will be paid back to your IVA.

As Kallis says, you can apply, but the money does belong to your creditors unless your former IP declares he has not interest in the PPI.

Claiming through GB could leave you in debt to them for their fees if the creditors pay your IP direct, which they often do, as GB will still want their fees, so do be careful.
