When in a IVA arrangement, can you be appointed as a private company director?

Hi Simon and welcome from me too.
The IVA does not prevent you from being a director but the articles of association may be an issue. You would need to check these and discuss the implications with any fellow directors. Your IP should not have a problem unless you were to give director's personal guarantees for company debts.
