Basically ... No. You are bound to your appointed supervisor. However, they can sell your case if they are re-organising their business, cutting back or retiring.

No - the firm would only change if the cases were sold/transferred over due to sale, insolvency, retirement or death of the IP/IP firm

What is the problem you have with your existing IP?
