My IVA completed in august last year with a final payment taken out of my bank in September last year. I am still waiting for my completion statement but have been told this takes about 6 months but it will be with effect from the 30th August 2017, the 5th anniversary of the award of the IVA. I have just been informed by a company I worked for some 12 years ago to say that I was entitled to a small sum of money from their pension plan as it was being rationalized. The payment will be paid to me in May this year. Can this be claimed by the creditors even though it is some 8 months after completion?

Without a completion certificate being issued you are still, technically, in the IVA and a windfall can be grabbed if they know about it. Check your paperwork though as, in some cases, pensions and proceeds are excluded anyway.
There aren't many firms who are taking over 6 months these days (though a couple come close) so the certificate shouldn't be long coming now.
