Does anyone know if the CCS guidelines have been changed to reflect the higher cost of living.
I am allowed 150.00 per month for food, household and toiletries and I am finding this a bit tight now.
My 3rd annual review is duw soon and I know that the company I am with use these guidelines.

Hi, i've just done my I & E for first review and kept the food budget the same as last year, didn't know if this should be the case as I agree they should put the allowance up to keep up with prices going up. Hopefully my IP will let me know if this is the case.

Hi
I would certainly ask about it, they can only say no!

The CCCS allowance for housekeeping for a single person ranges from £96 to £195. The higher allowances are generally more in line with my clients'a actual expenditure, so you should negotiate a rise with your IP based upon your actual spending levels.
