my last payment to my iva was june[5 year iva]how long does it take before they send you your certificate of completion, i was with debt free direct and have to 'say' they have been very good during the past 5 years, i still can't beleive its all over and im debt free at last, thanks dfd

Hi Traceman,

Well done on completing your IVA. You should hopefully get your certificate within a couple of months but may be worth a call to your IP to see as some take longer than others.

Ours took about 4 weeks, I think it depends on creditors finalising their claims.

Hubbys took about 16 weeks i think and that was with him chasing them for it every week.

My COC arrived after 6 weeks from Payplan.

Enjoy being debt free...
