hi all, my creditors meeting is on 20th oct, but I'm worried about discrepancy in my total amount of credit which my supervisor took from credit file vs actual amount. when i questioned them about it they said don't worry about it they will take actual figures from my creditors. I signed my proposal and now apparently it will be a breach if my total debt exceed 20 % more than my proposal. just want to know how it will affect my proposal.
thanks

There is always a discrepancy twixt your figures and those finally reported by creditors --- your figures are based on the last statement, which itself can be up to 56 days adrift --- they will then add charges and interest up until the start of the IVA. The difference is unlikely to amount to 20%.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

thanks for your reply. cf took my figures on 14 sep and I told them they are not accurate but they said don't worry about it as they will take updated figures from my creditors but on my proposal its still showing the old figures. I'm just worried where does it leave and how it will affect my proposal?

Hi there,

New to this forum, I am going through a new IVA proposal too and Creditfix said the exact same thing to me too, the figures were off and he told me not to worry...

wish87 - did you have your meeting? If so, what was the outcome?
